2010: where Podium’s journey began.
In 2010, before the signature houses and the corporate headquarters, Podium raised the Tropical Residence: twin buildings on Rua Madre Tereza de Calcutá, in Nova Parnamirim — the project that opened the builder’s journey.
On a 1,768 m² plot, 32 two-bedroom apartments with en-suite, designed by architect Verner Monteiro and developed by Tropical Incorporação.
Concrete structure, masonry and façades in acrylic texture: the project was run with Podium’s own, uniformed crew — the same site discipline that is a Podium trademark to this day.
Environmental licensing at IDEMA, a fire-safety design approved by the Fire Department and an enclosed staircase with emergency lighting: technical rigor from day one.
The ground floor gathers gatehouse, pool, barbecue area with accessible bathroom, playground and gardens — and parking in permeable interlocking pavers with green joints, at a time when that was still rare.
Electronic gates, intercom in every unit and a shared antenna completed the gated community, within reach of the Minha Casa Minha Vida housing program.
Each apartment offers a living room with balcony, two bedrooms (one en-suite), a family bathroom and a kitchen with laundry area — floor plans designed for the first home of one’s own.
First-rate finishes for the segment: anodized aluminum frames, granite counters, Brazilian ceramic tiles and timber doors — the specifications met to the letter.
Design by Verner Monteiro (CREA 210205934-0) — twin four-story buildings, rational and economical, with leisure on the ground floor.
Tropical Incorporação de Empreendimentos Imobiliários — made the project viable through Minha Casa Minha Vida, with CAIXA financing.
