The Podium concept, now in a corporate key.
On Rua Raimundo Chaves, in Lagoa Nova, the headquarters of the Tavares e Fernandes law firm was born facing the Administrative Center of the State of Rio Grande do Norte — a strategic position for the firm’s daily work.
On an urban plot of 330 m², Podium built the program vertically: 587.56 m² across three levels and a rooftop, with a floor-area ratio of 1.25.
At the top, the corner-to-corner glazed hall frames Arena das Dunas and the Natal skyline — lounge, events and gatherings of the firm on the most coveted floor of the building.
A slatted timber ceiling, glass railings and the terrace under a metal pergola complete the rooftop.
The great mashrabiya panel filters Natal’s strong sun and protects the interiors — and casts a grid of light on the floor that travels through the day, like a sundial.
Inside, glass partitions with black profiles, slatted panels, acoustic ceilings and selected marbles: the sobriety of an office, the warmth of a home.
On the ground floor, the parking area received permeable paving: 24.68% of the lot remains permeable, returning rainwater to the soil in the heart of Lagoa Nova.
Structure, glass skin, mashrabiya and joinery executed under Podium’s own management — the same rigor as our houses, from the concrete to the last finish.
Design by Kledson Lucena (CAU A281267-3) — a vertical building that draws the most out of a 330 m² urban lot, in glass, timber and mashrabiya.
