A cinematic house, facing the sea.
Internationally known for Pipa Beach, Tibau do Sul is one of the main tourist destinations in Rio Grande do Norte — today one of the most cosmopolitan beaches in Brazil.
The perfect setting to develop an exceptional, one-of-a-kind house for a client who fell in love with the town.
Conceived for vacations, the house has unprecedented characteristics. The purpose was to create a residence with an enormous living room and a breathtaking view of the sea — without losing the essential qualities of a home.
Great sliding panes of glass dissolve the boundary between interior and terrace, and the living room opens entirely to the horizon.
Absolute white gives the house its name: a volume of “chalk” (giz) that frames art, sculptures and light. In the hall, a double-height ceiling and a black pivot door announce the cinematic scale of the rooms.
The infinity pool advances over the plot and aligns its water surface with the horizon. Sun loungers, terrace and sea compose one single continuous plane — the heart of vacation life.
